The technical features are the same as the Velvet 2 harness, except for the addition of the Airbag as produced under Cygnus licence.

This model was born from extensive experience with the airbag in order to satisfy pilots who prefer less bulk, and feaatures a lateral air intake.

The Woody Valley Velvet 2 Airbag Harness features an underseat parachute container with an easy to find reserve handle.

This harness has a smaller luggage area and is lighter weight for the aerodynamically conscious pilot.

During the development of the Airbag 2 harness series, Woody Valley spent a whole year with the Crash Test machine. Waiting was worthwhile!

Instead of a 17 cm thick back protector that comes in the Velvet 2, the Velvet 2 Airbag uses a thin 3 cm thick pad that helps fill out the airbag as you stand up. This becomes effective immediately, even if the Airbag is not yet completely inflated, as can occur during the launching phase.

Velvet 2 Airbag shows up with a new design and in new colors: coal/cream/rust and blackcream/blue.
