This Push-To-Talk headset is the perfect
answer for paragliding, hang gliding and ultralight pilot communications.
Imagine conversing while ascending in
a thermal or soaring along a ridge without having to move your hands
off the controls! The finger switch allows you to talk by just squeezing
the button between any two fingers you choose. This unit features a
light weight cable, and the finger switch is water and dust resistant.
This PTT includes a headset
(2 speakers - one for each ear and microphone) and handset (radio connection, sealed fingerswitch). This PTT is for full-face helmets with
a chin guard (mounts inside your helmet), and has a fairly short radio cord, and should be used with a chest mounted radio, like on the Perufly Flight Suits or with a Radio Harness. The PTT fingerswitch can be used on the finger wiht the supplied velcro "ring" or mounted to the side of your helmet.
The Full Face PTT is made for the single plug style Yaesu radio (VX-150). We will soon have the double plug style like the Puxing PX-777 or Yaesu FT-11R Radios. This PTT is not compatible with Airband and Family Band Radios.
